so hey, i was scrolling through linkedin the other day and came across this job posting at qualifacts. and i was like ok this could actually be good for freshers who want to get into software development. so im sharing this with you all because why not, maybe someone reading this will find it helpful.

ok so qualifacts makes software for hospitals and medical clinics. like when a doctor needs to keep track of patient information and prescriptions and all that medical stuff, qualifacts provides the tools. ive looked them up and theyre pretty established – they work with over 2500 organizations and serve like 6+ million patients worldwide. so theyre not some random startup that will shut down next year. theyre an actual legit company.
What you’ll be doing day to day
your job would basically be:
- writing code for their medical applications
- fixing bugs when stuff breaks (which happens all the time lol)
- working together with other engineers and team members
- learning new technologies and coding frameworks
- maybe suggesting improvements to make things better
its pretty standard software engineering work honestly, nothing fancy.
What they actually want from you
you need to have:
- a bachelor’s degree in CS, IT or something tech related
- 60% marks minimum (not super high, just decent)
- know how to code in at least one language – java, python, c#, javascript, whatever
- good problem solving ability (because thats basically what coding is)
- understand sql and databases at basic level
- be able to work with people without being difficult
if you have any of these its good:
- internship experience in software development
- a github profile with some of your projects
- used git before for version control
- some web development experience
- basically anything coding related
- but like these arent mandatory, the basics are more important
